Fanni Barocsi is the Initiative Communications Lead.

Fanni has an MSc in Science Communication and Public Engagement from the University of Edinburgh. As a science communicator, she believes in supporting scientific research and knowledge translation. She is passionate about communicating the complexities of the world around us and taking social action to solve global challenges.

Fanni has spent the last five years working for some of the largest non-profit organizations in the world (including WWF and the Canadian Red Cross) in various communications roles focused on telling creative stories to help achieve impact. As the communications specialist for WWF’s Arctic Programme, she led in the production of content for web channels, as well as all social media channels for the Programme, and across the WWF network for any Arctic-specific content.
